I was nervous at first, but I’m very happy with these boots and the company. The first pair I received had a faulty loop tab on the back, it broke as soon as I put my finger through it. I contacted customer service and they took care of everything. I was a little worried since I’m in the US, but they sent the return shipping label so it was no problem. They didn’t even wait to get my return pair to ship me the new ones, which was great because I had already started a new job. The new pair’s back loops are fine, so I don’t think it’s a design flaw. Now a month in and I’m still loving them–they do get warm, but that’s to be expected (it was also over 100 in my town last week..). I also don’t need to wear the heavy duty socks, regular ones are just fine with no blisters or chaffing. Style and comfort for the win!

Bought these boots in the winter because I was tired of having wet feet. I do clean up at a saw mill and so far so good. They’re super light weight, fit a little tight until they broke in and now they’re the perfect size. I get complements on them all the time and the boys are pretty jealous of how light they are.
Only issues I have with them are the zippers, one of the zipper pulls broke off, and the other does the thing where the teeth come apart while the zipper is up. The rubber on the toe caps are starting to come up too, but I attribute this more to me being hard on the boots than to poor quality. I have recommended this brand to other women who are wearing uncomfortable mens boots, and am glad I took a chance on purchasing them!

These are really comfortable boots and very durable. I will buy them again after my current pair wears out. My only suggestion is to have the heel cut in a little deeper so when you are working on ladders it prevents your foot from slipping through the ladder rungs.

Comfortable fit and they feel like they should hold up well. I’m still a bit on the fence about the zipper – its very stiff and hard to zip up. I’ve been relying on the laces instead which has been ok. The boots are definitely waterproof as advertised which is great. The sizing is a bit off, I usually wear a 10 and ordered a size 11 based on the sizing chart. The 11 definitely feels a bit big but I was too nervous about getting boots that were too tight if I exchanged for a 10. I’ll keep wearing them with thick socks for now at least and maybe try a 10 next time. I will definitely order my next pair through P&F.

I was a bit nervous ordering these boots online without being able to try them on; my feet are wide and I have a difficult time finding shoes that fit comfortably. These boots are awesome. I ordered a size 11 after measuring my feet based on the sizing chart and they are a bit big but if I would have ordered a size down I think they would have been too tight. I’ll just have to wear thicker socks and they’ll fit perfectly. Super cute and comfortable and I was stoked to be able to find a pair of boots that are not the standard earth tone colors that everyone else at work wears. I like the zipper and not having to loosen them up or tighten them when taking on and off. Will definitely order again when I need another pair.

Love them so far, I have them for 3 weeks already. They are comfy and my feet don’t sweat as they did with the previous Dakota I had, that means I’m warmer overall during the day.
I waited for a snowy week before reviewing them because I wanted to test them in the snow. The pass with honours, my feet are dry all the time even in this snow until my chins week. I do not work outside, but I’m in and out all day.

Been wearing these boots for over a year. They are great boots, best boots iv had but my feet cant breath in them. I have never sweated so much in a pair of boots. I’m in my boots 40-50 hours a week so a good pair of boots is a must. Also are you guys ever going to make size 5.5 in the water proof boots? I have to get a half size too small or half size too big and that’s no good for your feet!

I purchased my boots 2 weeks ago and have been wearing them 6 days a week including a 16 hr shift. So far, so good! They have been far more comfortable through the break in process than any other boot I have owned. After purchasing them, I have come to find out that many of my female affiliates from other locations have them as well! And mine recently convinced a coworker to order a pair as well. I have been out in the snow nearly everyday and the waterproof claim has held strong. My only feedback for improvement would be a better quality lace. Though they are not being used because of the zipper option, a better lace material could have been selected for long lasting durability.
I would definitely recommend my boots to other women in the tough Canadian winter climate!

I’d been saving up to purchase a pair of boots from P&F and it took me forever to decide on which ones and what size to order. Due to flattening arches my size has changed depending on brand of shoes. After much debate I finally decide to go up a size from 9 to 10 = mistake. The size seemed fine walking in the house, however, after wearing outside (no longer able to exchange) I soon realized they were way too big even with thick socks. I actually added a second insole and they’re still too big. Expensive lesson to learn. They are beautiful pink boots, well made and I’m sure will be durable just not as comfy being so large. They are also extremely hot even in mid teens so if I were to do it all over again, I would order a 9-1/2 and not buy a waterproof boot, probably an ankle style or shoe for Summer which is when I would need them. So disappointing!

This was my second pair and you’ll see in the past reviews how happy I was. These boots are amazing in industrial or dry applications.
I have been working outside in dirtier ground and 100% would not recommend going for the zipper version.
The zipper got jammed up when it got a bit dirty… tried to clean it up and get them closed so I could at least use as a laced boot but couldn’t get the zipper to work for the life of me. Only about 3 weeks of wear and the boots are now useless for me with the safety on our site.
Great for indoors but do not recommend zipper for any dirty outdoor construction work. Try a zipperless pf version instead

Honestly surprised by the quality of these! No break in period at all. I work in arboriculture and can verify these boots are waterproof as well! The zipper is a really nice feature and helps keep the laces in good condition, and all the guys at the yard are jealous of my bright red boots 🙂

I work in tower construction in Vancouver BC I must say with the beating I have put on these boots they are holding up wonderfully. They are 100% water proof i had to spend a couple hours one morning walking around in around 6″ of water and my feet were dry my pants in the other hand were wet. I walk on steel alot and the fit is perfect almost like climbing boots but work boots. Ladders no problem. The grip is really amazing the boots really do grab the ground even were walking on a wet plywood ramp. I have always bought high boots 8″ really does save your ankle if you do end up rolling it the boot gives you that little bit extra support so you are way less likely of twisting your ankle. Because I work with a tonne of concrete the red in the boots does fade but as soon as I walk in some water or after a good rain storm they are bright and happy again. Thank you so much for making a truly superior boot. I mean it these boots really do meet the needs of the hardcore worker. I bought women’s boots once before at a store and they were garbage. So I started buying men’s boots and they sucked because they were never the right size and they were big and heavy. But these boots wow thank you I love that I have found them they are boots for women and they are far superior to the men’s boots. The guys on my site would love to buy them because they have so many good features. 100%water proof being the top thing and the weight of the boot and the durability wow thank you thank you thank you. And yes buy these boots you won’t regret it!

I got my new boots two weeks ago. I’m that time I’ve walked across hot asphalt, gone on a two hour hike and stood in ankle deep water for a half hour. The boots haven’t failed me. I didn’t even have to break them in.

I bought these to replace my previous pair that bit the dust after wearing them for 5 months a year for 8 YEARS. The quality is fantastic and they look great. The only complaint I have is that they do not offer a size option for wide feet. Breaking them in is quite painful since I have very wide feet. Once they are broken in though they are awesome.

Just received these and couldn’t wait to try them on. I got the grey and purple accents in a size 11. Now I always buy a size 10. I feel I am the perfect size 10M and always have been. However, I read so many reviews and was on the fence about whether to size up, but I did and got the size 11. I am so glad I sized up because they have wiggle room for thicker socks for this North Dakota brutal winters in the oil industry, but in my bare feet right now they just feel good. Not too big and not too small. I have always bought pull on Ariats and I love them too, but I have been forced to buy the mens so I have the calf protection and the style is better and seems to last longer.
